Reflect

At Narvi we strive to consider people and the environment in every decision we make. One of the first steps we took was in designing our packaging to be low impact and recyclable. Our Narvi branded boxes are recyclable cardboard, and our pouches are 100% cotton. These are shipped in heavy duty padded paper mailers which contain recycled materials and are fully recyclable themselves.

We have also consciously sought to stock designers whose values align with ours, and are mindful in their approach to production and consumption, including we proudly stock Soko jewelry, a brand which gives back to its artisan community in Kenya through social development programs and is a registered B Corp.

Many of our designers are seeking to minimise their impact on the planet by employing the use of recycled materials. In particular, our stockist Ottoman Hands’ products are crafted in 21k gold-plated recycled brass or recycled sterling silver. With almost 90% of all brass in the world being recycled, brass makes an excellent base metal for fashion jewellery, as it does not need to be mined.

Another technique to lower impact and reduce our footprint is partnering with designers who produce collections in limited quantities - this in turn limits waste and also adds value knowing that there are only limited numbers of your favourite items in the world. Many of our designs including Simply Serasi pieces are handmade to order, and other stocked designers such as Me Encanta take care to ethically source their own gemstones, in addition to only producing each piece in limited numbers.

Refine

As a young business we are constantly changing and evolving, and taking new steps to minimise our impact on the earth as we grow. We are continually improving our processes and refining along the way to ensure we build a brand that we can be truly proud of.

Repeat

This is just the beginning, and we know there is so much more we can achieve by embracing sustainable practices to decrease our footprint. With dedicated effort and constant awareness we aim to create a business that is in harmony with the planet, working for good, for people and the planet.

Respect

We acknowledge the Turrbal and Jagera peoples as the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to their elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
